When I showed my parents it, they needed me to translate. Jesus, it’s not that difficult to understand an English accent.
I think they except Cumberbatch to speak at Alan Rickman’s pace or something. And he does mumble sometimes and I understand not catching everything, but it’s not hard to follow if you actually stay awake.

I showed my parents 3 episodes of Sherlock. They liked them, but definitely fell asleep during episode 3 (aka the one with the GIANT cliffhanger). Sometimes parents just can’t stay up.
They always manage to stay up through most of Downton Abbey when that’s on, and Sherlock is way more interesting.
I don’t know why I’m so annoyed, I’m taking this really personally lol :P
