When I showed my parents it, they needed me to translate. Jesus, it’s not that difficult to understand an English accent.
I think they except Cumberbatch to speak at Alan Rickman’s pace or something. And he does mumble sometimes and I understand not catching everything, but it’s not hard to follow if you actually stay awake.

I showed my parents 3 episodes of Sherlock. They liked them, but definitely fell asleep during episode 3 (aka the one with the GIANT cliffhanger). Sometimes parents just can’t stay up.
I get really angry that whenever I try to show my parents an episode of Sherlock, they fall asleep 3 minutes in and then say it was convoluted when it ends
At least my sister appreciated it, and had an appropriately enthusiastic reaction to the ‘Sherlocked’ reveal

That time someone in the sherlock fandom made a photoset that I laughed at and not in a mocking way

THIS IS STILL THE WORST CAPTION I’VE EVER SEEN ON A PICTURE

Hi Julvett, since you recently became a fan of Sherlock, I thought to ask you. :) I just finished S2 of the show last night and...I just don't see why people are so in love with this Moriarty. He comes across as more irritating than brilliantly sinister to me, but pretty much everything I've seen online is "OMG LOVE!" Just curious to know your take :)

Haha to be honest I’m leaning more towards brilliantly sinister. Mostly because of the scene where he steals the Crown Jewels.
I know some people are really OTT about these characters and it makes me want to hate them all, but if I’m trying to look at it objectively I think he’s a pretty good villain.
You said you're not on board with Johnlock, so I was just wondering if there was another ship you preferred for Sherlock? I only ask because I also am not a Johnlock shipper and am always interested to see what other ships people come up with.
Nah, not really. I guess I like the ‘sapiosexual tension’ (idk how else to describe it) between Sherlock and Irene, but I don’t really have any desire to see them go any further.
The Sherlock fandom blows my mind with its fanart
I’ve thought this waaay before I ever watched the show
It’s too bad I’m not on board with “johnlock” because I can’t imagine what it’d be like to have that much amazing fanart of my OTP
When the power came back I convinced my family to watch Sherlock after much begging
My dad goes ‘So what is this, the studly version of Shelock?’
Dad
Please

Look at my beautiful Sherlock downloads
This took me less than 6 hours
Because there’s nothing like this in 1080p

LOL I thought I was being so nice last night. I mean I had to be, he really was fantastic in that episode, and so was Lara Pulver, the two of them just really sold that ending and it was great.
Like omg that scene at the end where he whispers in her ear that he took her pulse
it was almost
kind of
hot
and I want to die for admitting that but then I think about what his face would look like when he’s losing his virginity to Irene Adler and then I’m ok
I also like when Cumberbatch does that thing where he acts all innocent and vulnerable to get information and once he gets what he needs his face instantly changes and he goes to his Alan Rickman voice
About halfway through A Scandal in Belgravia
How did Sherlock not know that Molly’s gift was for him? Did I miss something or was Sherlock just caught in a Lily Evans style state of romantic obliviousness? I’m sorry I wouldn’t ask but I know everyone here watches Sherlock so its relevant.
Also Molly looked hot in that dress
AND I REALLY LIKED IN THE BEGINNING WHEN HE PUT ON THE SHERLOCK HAT IT MADE ME SMILE
